Track Press Service NTP has trained track press technicians with over 30 years of experience. Our 200 Ton WTC-WS200 double ram track press gives us the ability to turn or install pins and bushings on conventional seal washer or S.A.L.T. (Sealed and lubricated) style track chains for all makes and models.
We use a WTC-WS5E-3 electronic track wrench to remove and replace track grousers either for a pad transfer or a pin and bushing service. All torques are audited to insure the proper installation of our grade #8 track hardware.

Idler-Roller Rebuild NTP is one of the few remaining track shops in the Midwest that rebuilds and re-shells lower rollers. Our WTC Idler Rebuilder is the most modern technology available for idler wheel build up. We pride ourselves on the quality of our idler rebuilding.
When we rebuild an idler we first dis-assemble it so we can thoroughly inspect and clean the internal components. All new seal groups and "o"-rings are used when the idler is re-assembled. The idler wheel is then pre-heated to a proper temperature. In the welding process we use top quality Stoody build up wire to insure the maximum wear life for the finished product. All idlers are then slow-cooled before re-assembly to prevent cracking.

NTP still offers lower roller re-shelling to our customers for Caterpillar D8 & D9 Model machines. We dis-assemble the old roller core. Then we inspect all the internal roller components. If the core components are good we blast and clean each one completely, then re-install in a new quality roller shell with all new seal groups and "o"-rings. Finally, we pressure-test the re-shelled roller to insure there are no leaks.
We guarantee this product the same as we would a new lower roller group, with a $avings of 20-30% compared to a new group price.

Bucket Rebuilding NTP has the latest in equipment for cutting and welding on buckets. This combined with the best bucket rebuild welding technicians in the industry, means we can offer the best rebuild for the most $avings in the industry.
We can remove and replace cutting edges, wear plates, corners, and teeth adapters. We can fabricate, build-up or replace worn wear surfaces on a bucket. We use only the highest quality wire, rod, and steel plate. In most applications we use steel with an AR 400 rating.
Undercarriage Removal-Replacement NTP is a full service undercarriage facility. We have many customers from all around the Midwest who take advantage of our convenient location in Plano, Illinois. Here we can provide complete removal and replacement of your undercarriage as needed. All Machines are pressure washed at no additional charge before entering our shop to be jacked up onto support blocks. Our trained staff performs all the necessary services with quality always being our priority.

Field Service NTP maintains a state of the art service vehicle. This allows us to respond to undercarriage emergencies that occur in the field. Our truck (pictured) is equipped with a heavy crane, air compressor, welder and all the necessary tools to repair your undercarriage on the spot.
